ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY - LEAVENWORTH COUNTY
The Leavenworth County Attorney’s office is seeking an attorney currently licensed in the state of Kansas to fill an Assistant County Attorney position vacancy. The vacant position handles a wide-range of cases, including misdemeanors and felonies, traffic, domestic violence, and juvenile. Applicants should possess courtroom experience, knowledge of criminal law, and a current license in good standing in the State of Kansas. The new hire will be eligible for KPRS and standard health benefits. JUSTICE ADVISOR - AFGHANISTAN
PAE Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the position of Justice Advisor for a one year assignment in Afghanistan. The qualified candidates will have specialty in one or more of the following areas: Experience in Prosecution, Experience in Anti-Corruption, Experience in Criminal Defense, Experience in Management/Supervision/Administrative Reform, Experience providing Legal Education & Training, Experience in Case Management Systems (Court Administration), Experience in Human Rights, Experience in Legislative Drafting, Experience in Juvenile Justice. The qualified candidates must have a law degree (JD/LLB), a minimum of five years experience in their particular field, be a licensed attorney and a member in good standing. Previous overseas experience is preferred. Base pay plus 35% post differential, plus additional 35% danger pay. Generous vacation and benefits package.
